Position: Buyer (Ref: BUY 11)
Assist the Purchasing Manager to process purchase requirements and purchase orders for goods and services in a timely manner as required by the business units. Secures additional information on departmental needs and may prepare recommendations on vending sources.
Qualifications
B.SC. Mechanical Engineering, Membership of the Chartered institute of purchasing and supply management is an added advantage.
Must be proactive, resourceful, self motivated, target driven, stable character with proven integrity and must be a good team player with good coordination skills. Successful candidate must possess excellent interpersonal skills and must be willing to work long hours.
Minimum of 3 post qualification experience in a manufacturing industry. Good working knowledge of Ms-office and an ERP.
