Vacancy: Administration/Support Job as Contract Site Representative Assistant in Oil & Gas Company – Nigeria, 2011.

Job description:

The candidate will be responsible for assisting the contract site representative in all CMMS activities ion site, ensure smooth short term planning process and is the focal point of training and nationalization on Site.
He will be reporting to the Contract Site Representative.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist CSR as and when required
  2. He will be the focal point on Site with respect to training and nationalization,
  3. Ensure adequate management of Technicians by their hierarchy and permanently liaise with Onshore Training coordinator for training preparation and requirements…
  4. Ensure adequate and smooth short term maintenance planning
  5. Ensure CMMS is properly handled and documented by maintenance team
  6. Warns support team of any recurring problems related to the maintenance activity back log.
  7. Suggests improvements and requests modifications for the CMMS and Work Order flow chart.
  8. Assists CSR for the weekly and monthly reports preparation.
  9. Verifies the quality of CMMS users data entry (notifications, work orders, reporting)
  10. Ensure the preventive planning is liquidated as per schedule
  11. Ensure corrective Work order are liquidated as per priority

Qualifications and experience:

  • Higher National Diploma or Certificate (H.N D/H.N.C (A-levels + 3 years’ study) or B.T.S/D.U.T or equivalent,
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in the maintenance field on oil and gas production installations,
  • A basic knowledge of the process of oil and gas treatment, installations and a thorough knowledge of the equipment used in oil and gas treatment installations
  • SAP/R3 experience and know-how
  • Planning software experience and ability to work with multi-national teams,
  • Pride in his work, ability to maintain good relations with colleagues and others,
  • Physical ability to work on offshore installations in the climatic conditions of the site,
  • Working language: English.
  • He must have proven ability as a leader of small teams
Must be perfect, competent and independent in his field and must show common sense and organizational ability.
