Consolidated Breweries Plc, a subsidiary of Heineken International, produces and markets “33” Export Larger brands; Hi-Malt and Maltex Malta brands; and Turbo King Stout brand. We have two breweries and a factory located in the South-west geographical zones of the country respectively. With over 25 years brewing experience in Nigeria, we are one of the major players in the industry and have continued to contribute to the growth of the Nigerian economy.

We are looking for focused and determined individuals for the position below 

    

CONTROLLER

The Role:

The successful candidate for the position will be based in one our brewery locations and will be responsible for analysis of costs and efficiencies.

He/She will support and assist Line Managers on financial and analytical matters in order to their targets and achieve the overall objectives of the company.

He/She will report to the control Manager.

REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate should have (or meet the following):

v     Minimum of B.SC degree, second class honors (lower division) in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or other Finance-related disciplines.

v     Professional qualification (ACCA or ACA) is a major advantage.

v     Experience in a planning and control department of a large manufacturing organization for not less than 3 years.

v     Not more than 45 years old as at 1^st January, 2011.

GRADUATE TRAINEES

The Role:

The training will undergo an intensive training program in any of our locations, tailored towards specific roles for a definite period.

Successful candidates must be ready to take on tasks and assignments in any of the company locations.

REQUAIREMENTS

The ideal candidate should have (or meet the following):

v     B.SC degree with a minimum of second class honors (lower division) or H.N.D (Upper Credit) in any of the following courses:

Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Science & Technology, Brewing Sciences, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, any of the social Sciences, Finance and Finance-related disciplines.

v     Not more than 27 years old as at 1^st January, 2011.

GENERAL REQUAIREMENTS FOR BOTH VACANCIES:

v     Ability to work with computer systems and soft-wares e.g. MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-Power Point and the Internet.

v     Good team-player.

v     “Hands on” attitude and disposition.

v     Evidence of having participated in the N.Y.S.C scheme or exemption.

v     Resilience and ability to work under pressure.

v     Willingness to work in any of the locations in Nigeria where we have operations.

REMUNERATION:

Remuneration attached to each position is in line with the existing rates in the industry.
